Dear All,

Another financial year has begun, also another summer vacation is about to begin. As our normal schedules these are the months for resting and recreation, taking time to relax and to find energy for the whole coming year.

As Christians this month of April is more significant as Passion Week, especially Good Friday and Easter is approaching. All those who are observing fast and lent, may find this period be of help to understand the purity of life by cleansing ourselves from the inside and looking brightly at the outside.

Cross is the symbol of all pain and suffering caused by our sins is being relieved in our saviour Jesus Christ. So only Easter has many meanings. It is too big a miracle to mean only one thing. The women who went to the tomb were worried how they would move the big stone blocking them from entering and anointing the saviour’s dead body. But to their amazement it was moved aside.

1) The women knew they cannot remove the stone, but it did not stop them from going to the tomb.
2) The disciples were asked to go to Galilee to see/meet him, there they went and got the courage to come out of their locked rooms.
3) All those understood Jesus and his miracles were given the helper- Holy Spirit to be led and fruitful.

Easter is all about coming out/ moving out of fear and being led by God to live without fear. Easter means that there is no tomb, stone or fear from which our God and Saviour cannot free us. May God help us to be fearful in this time of need.

I exhort all youth and children to utilize the vacation time in the most effective way. Where ever you go to enjoy your vacation, make it a point to read books (apart from novels and comics- it is also necessary) related to self helps, biographies or any other. Also, to maintain a diary/journal about all the happy things that you come across and about all the good memories during this vacation.

Let me put a word of appreciation to all the outgoing executive/ organizational office bearers, committee members, representatives and auditors of the year 2024- 2025 for all their dedication and effort to glorify the name of our God and to uplift the need of the parish and its members in fellowship. I also extend all my prayers and wishes to the newly appointed executive/organizational office bearers, committee members, representatives, and auditors for the year 2025- 2026. May God use us to be fruitful to be in His Vineyard.
